Based on the classic Harry Nilsson song, "Remember (Christmas)", The Moose & the Golden Spike is the tale of a lonely, forgotten moose named Junction who opens his heart to friendship and saves his valley town from the greedy outlaw villain, Boomtown Bill. Beautifully illustrated in vibrant color by Dr. Chris Bassett, the storybook includes QR codes to free songs and narrated story track featuring singer-songwriter and storyteller, John Driskell Hopkins.

This is the first story in our "Friends of Friends Songbook Series", benefiting Enduring Hearts, a registered 501(c)(3) charity founded by Patrick and Madelyn Gahan to increase funding, awareness, and research that improves the lives of young heart transplant recipients like their daughter, Mya. The goal of this songbook is to fill the hearts of 500 heart transplant children in hospitals across the country while benefiting Enduring Hearts for as long as it is donated and sold.
